On the 17th of August, 2017, the Honourable Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac F. Adewole launched the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) doctors stamp in Kaduna.

The Stamp was introduced in a bid to reduce/eradicate quackery from the medical profession. The Doctors Stamp will be used in all reports and medico-legal documents by doctors in both Public and Private establishments in Nigeria and will be enforced from the 1st of April, 2018. Any document signed without the Stamp remains invalid and will not be recognized.

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Lagos State branch and DokiLink Limited have partnered to ease the registration and payment process for all medical doctors and dentists in Lagos.

A stamp costs fifty (50) naira and there are twenty-four (24) stamps on each A4 card, costing a total of 1200 naira for one (1) A4 card. All requests should be even numbers of cards e.g. 2, 4, 6 e.t.c cards. Two cards is the minimum cards that can be ordered or paid for i.e, 2400 naira.
