Job Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse/Midwife to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and supporting the professional development of nursing staff

Job Requirement/Qualification: 

•Fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. (RN, RM / B.Sc. Nursing Science)

•Valid nursing license to practice. 

•Must have 2 to 3 years of cognate experience.

•Proven experience as a Staff Nurse /Midwife

•Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and standards.

• Excellent leadership and management abilities.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

•Strong moral values, integrity, character and discipline.

•Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations with composure.

•Proficiency with healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

•Strong organizational and time-management skills.

 

Job Responsibility: 

 

•Performing procedures such as admission & discharge, taking histories, monitoring vital signs with necessary follow-up, wound dressings, administering medication, IV placement, insertions and providing other assistance needed

•Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances

•Admission and discharge of patients

•Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patients’ encounters.

•Advocate for health and well-being of patient

•Monitor patient health and record signs

•Administer medications and treatments

•Operate medical equipment

•Educate patients about management of illnesses

•Provide support and advice to patients

•Provide instant medical care in emergencies

•Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

•Manage patient care plans, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.

•Monitor and manage patient satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.

•Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

•Maintaining a clean and safe environment always

•Comply with the use of Standard Operating Procedures and policies/adherence to quality standards
