A private hospital in Abuja, FCT is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Consultant Gynaecologist.
Salary Range:N1m - N1.2m (Based on skills and experience)

The hospital is looking for a qualified, self motivated, hardworking individual with a forward thinking approach to improving patient pathway. (Preferably male).
▪Medical Degree: MBBS or MBCHB
▪Valid MDCN practicing licence.
▪Qualification as a Gynaecologist: (FWACS, FNMCS or equivalent)
▪Appropriate competence and skills in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
▪Must be able to perform Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound scans

▪Provide patient focused Obstetrics and Gynaecology services and ensure optimum care of patients.
▪To provide prenatal, antenatal, intrapartum and post natal care
▪ Provide medical and surgical care to women and expertise in pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system.
▪Perform caesarean section or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients’ health and deliver babies safely.
▪Assist with the delivery of new babies.
▪Explain procedures to patients’ and discuss test results, the complications, appropriate treatments and ensure that doctor-patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
▪ Monitor patients’ condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
▪Refer patients’ to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary
▪ Plan, implement or administer health programs in the hospital for treatment and prevention of diseases or injuries
▪Participate in clinical recruitment exercise in the hospital
