Bio: A Psychiatrist in Nigeria, with experience in the assessment and management of children and adults with mental health problems, including substance use disorders (addiction). I am a hard-working, caring and dedicated professional, open to interdisciplinary liaison in the field of mental health, and collaboration with other professionals. After undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, I completed the Postgraduate Residency program in Psychiatry at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Uselu, Benin City. I am a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. I was awarded a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in 2013, and received on-site training in the United Kingdom with The Meriden Family Programme, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, becoming a certified trainer in Behavioral Family Therapy (BFT) and a certified trainer in Caring for Carers of persons with mental health challenges. I am ICAP certified and have worked in a number of mental health/substance use addiction treatment facilities. Currently, I am a Consultant Psychiatrist/Addiction professional at Evercare hospital, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
