American Cancer Hospital, a subsidiary of Imo International Health Systems, is situated at Ikeduru Hospital Complex in Imo State, Nigeria. It is located at KM. 13, Owerri-Okigwe road in Iho, Ikeduru LGA Imo State.
We are full fledged cancer treatment hospital equipped with Radiotherapy machine and have various oncologists (Radiation, Clinical & Surgical) combined with other relevant staff (Medical physicists, Pharmacists & Nurses etc) which make up our MDT (Mufti-Disciplinary Team) forum which meets often during the week to decide the treatment plan of patients.
The Hospital is fully equipped and is open 24 hours with Security. It has an intensive care (ICU) and critical care unit (CCU) for seriously ill patients and a neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital is fitted with a centralized oxygen supply which is crucial for critical patients. We routinely receive patients who arrive in comma due to burns, accidents, and or stroke.
All patient records are entered and monitored on an online electronic medical register. Hence patient records can be viewed by Physicians even when not in the hospital and give instructions to carefully manage each patient under their care.
