Prof. Adetokunbo Olusegun Fabamwo; MBChB, FWACS, FICB, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist has been appointed as the new Chief Medical Director, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) by his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Prof. Fabamwo whose professional experience spans over three decades, graduated from the University of Ife in June 1978 and has won various prizes and awards. He is also a member of several professional bodies.
Prof. Fabamwo is not new in the history of LASUTH, as he has served in some notable capacities; worthy of note is his tenure as the Pioneer Director Clinical Services and Training, (DCST) and Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), April 2000- February 2007.
Until his recent appointment, Prof, Fabamwo is a member of the Institute of Fertility Medicine and Chairman, Medical Care Audit.
