Job Title: Oncologist
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary Range: ₦1.3 million - ₦1.5 million (monthly)

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
• Diagnose and treat various types of cancer, including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices and patient-specific factors.
• Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide compassionate support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and educating them about their condition and treatment options.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and oncology nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases, formulate treatment strategies, and make informed clinical decisions.
Clinical Research:
• Engage in clinical research initiatives, including clinical trials and observational studies, to advance knowledge in the field of oncology and contribute to the development of innovative treatment approaches.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in oncology research and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
Education and Training:
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, including residents, fellows, and medical students, providing guidance and instruction in oncology practice and patient management.
• Contribute to educational activities within the institution, such as grand rounds, seminars, and conferences, sharing expertise and fostering continuous learning among peers.
