Rotary Club of Ikoyi, Metropolitan District 9110 in furtherance of its cardinal objectives at the weekend donated equipment and materials to the Obalende Primary Health Centre (PHC) and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Zone 18, Ikoyi/Obalende.
The presentation, which was made during the visit of its District Governor, Mr. Patrick Ijehon Ikheloa, was according to the club president, ASP Florence Egbeyemi, carried out to improve the poor state of the PHC. She added that the health facility would be the club’s priority during her tenure because it renders medical services to citizens and the less privileged within the local council.
The Sole Administrator of Ikoyi Obalende Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Goke Olawale and Dr. (Mrs.) Oladipo, Head Medical Officer for the local council, thanked the club for the love and support shown.
The LASTMA Area Commander, Area A Lagos Island, Mr. Ogunnoiki and Head Welfare, Mrs. Akeusola, on behalf of the agency, also thanked the Ikoyi Metro Club and promised to continue with their efficiency, particularly with the aid of the supplied materials.
