The Jigawa Government on Friday relieved Dr Mahmud Gambo of his position as Director, School of Health Technology, Jahun.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Health, Dr Abba Zakari in Dutse.
The statement did not give any reason for the removal but said it was with immediate effect.
The statement directed the sacked official to immediately hand over the affairs of the school to the Vice Principal, Academic, of the institution.
